At the heart of the watch is the highly regarded Longines Calibre 284 manual wind movement, one of the company's excellent in-house movements from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Renowned for its reliability and smooth operation, the movement has been professionally overhauled by a respected Japanese watchmaker prior to import. The original Japanese service report accompanies the watch, providing excellent provenance and additional reassurance for its next owner.
The original silver sunburst dial catches the light beautifully, complementing the polished steel baton markers and matching hands to create a crisp, uncluttered appearance. The stainless steel case measures approximately 35mm excluding the crown, offering a versatile size that sits comfortably on a wide range of wrists while retaining the elegant proportions expected of a classic vintage dress watch.
