Released in 1982 to commemorate a century and a half of watchmaking, the piece blends Art Deco inspiration with modern (for its era) quartz reliability—resulting in a timepiece that is both historically significant and exceptionally wearable.
Design & Aesthetic
Housed in a beautifully stepped rectangular case, this Longines carries the charm of early 20th-century dress watches. The warm, gold-tone case contrasts gracefully with the crisp two-tone dial: a cream center panel surrounded by a white minute track, framed with fine line work reminiscent of vintage sector dials.
Black Arabic numerals, a set of classic leaf-shaped hands, and a recessed small-seconds display at 6 o’clock complete the composition. Every element feels deliberate, tasteful, and unmistakably Longines.
Caseback – Anniversary Marking

Here at Stonebridge Watches we were first made aware of this watch via a historic social media post from 2023. Since then we constantly searched for another example until eventually 2 years later ! one was found and in lovely condition. It has been paired with a new quality soft and supple leather strap (ready to wear) and a matching gold coloured Longines buckle. Bearing in mind how infrequent these watches are made available we doubt we will be lucky enough to find another for quite some time if at all.
