This superb vintage Seiko SilverWave dates from the late 1970s and is a particularly attractive example of Seiko's innovative approach to watchmaking during the quartz revolution. Featuring a striking black dial, beautifully proportioned stainless steel case and original Seiko bracelet, this is a distinctive vintage timepiece that combines understated elegance with unmistakable 1970s styling.
The beautifully preserved black dial is undoubtedly one of the highlights of this watch, featuring applied silver-tone baton hour markers, contrasting hands and a distinctive outer 24-hour scale. The elegant SilverWave signature, together with the original Seiko branding, completes a wonderfully balanced design. The dial is complemented by a domed crystal, adding depth and character to its appearance.
The stainless steel case measures approximately 36mm excluding the crown and features an attractive combination of brushed and polished surfaces.
