STONEBRIDGE WATCHES SAYS...

Vintage Omega Seamaster 166.067 Silver Satin Dial
A beautifully preserved example of the ever-popular Omega Seamaster 166.067, presented here with an eye-catching silver satin dial that gives the watch a distinctive shimmering appearance in changing light. The finely textured metallic finish creates remarkable depth across the dial surface, offering a subtle sparkle that immediately sets this Seamaster apart from more conventional silver dial variants.
Produced during the golden era of Omega dress watches, the reference 166.067 is particularly sought after for its clean symmetrical design, slim profile and highly wearable proportions. This example features the desirable 36mm stainless steel case considered oversized for a vintage Omega dress watch of the period and often referred to by collectors as a jumbo Seamaster. The larger case size gives the watch a far more contemporary wrist presence while still retaining all the elegance and restraint expected from a classic 1970s Omega.
The condition of the watch is especially impressive. The front case surfaces remain sharp and well defined, while the original silver satin dial has aged beautifully with excellent overall preservation. The applied baton markers and hands remain crisp and clean, complementing the understated monochromatic aesthetic perfectly. The acrylic crystal presents beautifully and allows the textured dial finish to truly come alive in natural light.
Powering the watch is Omegas reliable automatic movement, operating exactly as a Seamaster of this calibre should. The watch has been paired with a new soft and supple leather strap, finished with an Omega signed buckle which completes the watch exceptionally well and adds a refined finishing touch. It has been timed with a daily accuracy of less than 5 seconds a day. A remarkable level of timekeeping from a watch 50 years old.
The reverse caseback does show signs of wear consistent with age and honest use, though remains entirely presentable and retains the embossed Seamaster hippocampus medallion clearly.
The watch is supplied with an Omega travel case.
At Stonebridge Watches, we are particularly fond of these larger vintage Omega references. The combination of the rare 36mm oversized case and the wonderfully unusual silver satin dial gives this Seamaster a character rarely found in standard vintage dress watches. Elegant yet distinctive, understated yet undeniably eye-catching, it is exactly the sort of vintage Omega that sparks conversation the moment it catches the light.
We have an ''alternative'' version of this watch available with a ''Champagne Satin Dial'' and can be found at the link below.
