Stonebridge Watches are very pleased to offer this stunning tank style watch from Baume & Mercier. The ''art deco'' style dial with Roman numerals and baton indices makes this watch suitable for everyday office wear or for formal occasions. The slim profile casing at just 6mm means it will easily slip beneath a shirt sleeve and give all day comfort.
Powered by a reliable Swiss quartz movement it provides very accurate timekeeping with little maintenance. The polished square caseback is secured by 4 screws for ease of battery change when required. Whilst 30mm x 30mm in size, it ''wears'' larger than the dimensions suggest. For a better example please see my photo below.
Baume & Mercier are masters at making ''square'' cased watches and this example is certainly no exception. Produced circa 2009 this watch is now rare and certainly hard to find in this condition. Most of the editions on the second hand market have a leather strap making this version even harder to find. The watch suits both styles (bracelet & leather) therefore the new owner may wish to have both options available. I have included an additional photo below to show how this would look.
The watch and caseback are in excellent condition, whilst the bracelet does show a little wear in places, any marks are very minor and we feel are very acceptable and would not ''bother'' the wearer.
As you can probably tell from our review we are very taken with this watch and feel it would sit proudly in any collection. Priced at a very appealing price point this watch may not stay in stock for very long.
